A series of evening sprint events held over consecutive Tuesday nights in February and March. These are always fun and are planned by some of the up and coming club juniors. There are always plenty of PAPO members willing to help anyone new to the sport. For 2024 there will be 5 events.
Come along and experience an adventure sport, practice map reading and navigation, and improve your fitness.
Each event will have 3 courses (1.5km - 3km+) with winning times about 15/20 mins:
At the last event on Tues 12th March those on the Long course have the opportunity to run the event as a 2-person relay. (All distances possible to run normally as at all the other events).
Pre-entry is preferred for all PAPO events.

Entries close for each event at midnight on the Sunday before the event.
Credit card payments can be made from the entry system (EnterO).
PAPO members can use VIP points for payments.

Limited number of maps available for entry on the day.
Registration: from 4.40pm.
Starts: 5pm- 6:30pm
Course closure 7pm.
For the last event, the 2-person sprint relay will have a mass start at 6pm.
Electronic Punching: SI Air+ will be turned on for all sprints, bring your SI Air card if you have one. For those without an SI Air card (and anyone hiring a SI card) punch in the usual manner.
