Haere mai! You’re invited to the Canterbury Schools Orienteering Festival 2022.

 Canterbury schools orienteering festival 2022 details     

Day 1 format: Find all the controls in order over a short distance (1-3.5km). Punch the start and finish, and every control in numerical order on your course. Harder courses will have lots of controls to find and lots of fast decision making.
Day 1 terrain: Urban park setting, paved areas, pathways, bridges and gardens.
Event area: The event will be at the Orua Paeroa (Ascot disc golf course) and adjacent schools. 
Entries: Entries now open. See the overall festival page for entry details: https://papo.org.nz/series/view/25. Entries close Sunday Sept 4th.
Cost: $10 per child per day. Includes hire of a Sportident stick/dibber.
Start times: Your start time will be pre-allocated. Start times will be between 1.30pm and 3:30pm.

Coaching opportunity: Training events will be held at different venues at 4pm on weekdays on the 4 weeks leading up to the event. See https://papo.org.nz/events/view/4091
